Move folder redirction GPO location

All -

We currently have folder redirection set up with a group policy setting.  However, I need to migrate that to a new server.  
What is the best way to do that?
If I change the folder location in teh GPO, what will happen?
Do I need to manually move the data?
Does anything need to be done from a end users perspective?

I'd recommend manually moving the data.  If you let it happen automatically, then each user's next logon will take forever while Windows copies the files.  It won't given any indication of what it's doing; it just seems to hang on "Loading your personal settings".  Users will probably grow impatient and power the machine off rather than let it finish.

Also be sure to leave the folder behind in the old location, even if it's empty.  For some reason Windows often won't correctly change the My Documents path if it can't find the old path.

Make sure users have Full Control of both their old folder and new folder.
