i am using php code to connect to sql server

i cant see the ip address of where i am using php code to query sql server

Check your client protocols in SQL Server configuration manager - if TCP/IP is not enabled you will not see the IP address - then it is connectiong using on of the other protocols

If you are using php; you need to confirm where the php web server sits. If it's on the same box; then as far as SQL is concerned; the connection originated locally, hence the 'Local Machine'
