Acrobat 8 Professional in XenApp 5

I have installed XenApp 5 in a test environment on Windows Server 2008 32 bit. Everything is working great except for Acrobat 8 Professional. When I try to launch it from the web interface, everything looks fine, no errors, but the application won't start. All I see is the Server 2008 log off screen for 1 second and then nothing.

Hi there;

As in the link; http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404291.html

There is a known compatibility issue:
1802672 : Unable to create PDF from web capture on Windows 2008 Server (32 and 64-bit)

but you say;

>>When I try to launch it from the web interface, everything looks fine, no errors, but the application >>won't start.

So, is there really no problem while initiating a pdf from IE? If so, could you disable the 3rd party option and retry?

Also, are you positive, you have downloaded the latest version for 32-bit?

One last thing, no AV/firewall setting to block the application?

Best regards.
