running an activeForm inside activeX on a browser.
is there a way to close the active browser's window from within the activeForm ?

I suppose you will have to link a JavaScript (or other script) function to a custom event of your activeX.
In this JavaScript function, you can close the browser window.

Check this for the syntax of the javascript event assignment

Of course, you will have to declare first your event in your activeX type library
