change combo box header labels in VBA in MS Access

I have a form with several combo boxes and set the headers to true.  I want the headers to read differently than the query set for the row source.  How is this done in VBA?

    Select t1.f1 As [New col Head] from t1;

    Yes, I know I can change the columns in my sql statement, which I've done but can it be done in VBA.
