You need an additional () between each operations like

-- For three tables
FROM (tabe1 INNER JOIN table2 ON table1.col1 = table2.col2)
INNER JOIN tab3 ON table2.col2 = table3.col3;

-- For Four tables

FROM ((tabe1 INNER JOIN table2 ON table1.col1 = table2.col2)
INNER JOIN table3 ON table2.col2 = table3.col3)
INNER JOIN table4 on table3.col4 = table4.col2;

An example given here..
