Where are the SQL logs located for SQL Express ? Not the transaction logs but the logs that can be found under Managment > SQL Server Logs.

    you should search for the ERRORLOG file, in the logs folder in the installation path

    Try connecting to management studio --> New Query and execute the below query:


    If you want older ones, then you can execute master..xp_readerrorlog1 or xp_readerrorlog2 and so on depending on your requirement.
