Prevent "Illegal Name Character" importing XML to Access

I am getting errors on almost all attempts to import XML files to Access. The error thrown is "Microsoft has encountered an error processing the XML schema."

Sample of xml file throwing the error is attached.

    is illeagal

    since an xml element should follow naming conventions, if say under category, you want a sub-element called cdata, then it should read


    if, on the other hand, this is meant to say that the contents inside the square brackets is string, then omit cdata altogether
