Good day,

I have a Cisco IpCOmminicator (soft phone) version 2.0. Its very old.. But i never bought the cisco service so i cant download a newer version..

I have a Cisco Unity Call Manager 4.1.2 and would like to be able to use soft phones..  Is there any alternatives to the CIPC? or is there a way to get a CIPC upgade for free at cisco? (cant find anything except release notes)

    LVL 8

    Accepted Solution

you can use IPBlue with this client you can use more than one client on the same PC, for CIPC there is no update you have to download the new version.

    LVL 10

    Assisted Solution

You can use Xlite.  The new version of CIPC like 7 is not supported with CCM 4.1.2 only 4.3 and above. You can get new licenses for 10 users for around $200.

    Xlite is here
