Is the task running as an account on the network or a local account? I've had issues with tasks running as restricted accounts and accounts that had passwords that are set to expire. Also, check the event viewer and see if the "The task image is corrupt or has been tampered" error message provides more information.

Hi,

Well, You should to disable the policy "Do not allow storage of credentials or .NET Passports for network authentication" in Group Policy (or Local Policy) -> Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policies/Security Options/Network Access.Vista and Server 2008 as well (I think) saves passwords for scheduled tasks this way and if you have this policy enabled=problem.
