Having issues with UBCD4WIN when doing drive images.

It seams to me that once I have created the image I can not put the image back onto a new drive.

Even if I do a disk to disk I just goes to a black screen with a flashing cursor.

Where am I going wrong.

    Try formatting the new HD before restoring the image.
    Also: if the old, mirrored drive had bad sectors, then DriveImage is known to fail:

    I suggest you download and use the free Easeus' Disk-Copy instead:
    It uses sector-by-sector cloning, hence will not be affected by a partly faulty drive.

    if i suspect a bad disk, i would first run a diag to know it's status, you can find the diags on ubcd :
