Winodws clustering ( MSCS ) and VMWare virtualization

I have a two node ( active-passive ) SQL2005 SP3 Ent running on Windows 2003 Ent R2 SP2 cluster.
This physical cluster needs be converted to VMs in ESXi for test/dev.
My question is not regarding MSCS cluster installation on ESXi from scratch.
It's regarding VM conversion of existing physical MSCS cluster.

Any help will be appreciated.

    Accepted Solution

I would think you would need to follow the VMWare MSCS guides (depending on ESX version)
Of course the difficult part would be virtualizing the quorom disk ...

I was able to convert and  run VM cluster with a single node only.
Quorum drive is a virtual disk also and I think the cluster service is still running because it doesn't need be shared.
This serves my purpose for now.
I will try to convert the second node with a physical Quorum drive as your link suggests.

    Thank you for your help.
