I just installed a sonicwall tz210 and ever since I can not get any downloads from MSDN using the required Microsoft File Transfer.

It says "interrupted" and quits or goes really slow then quits.

Do you have any of the gateway services enabled on your TZ210(such as AV, malware/adware scanning)?

no.

I do have ports set up for OOMA phone, xbox live, and cameras.
Does Microsoft File Transfer use specific ports?

It uses http.

To be honest with you, I have used their transfer service in the past and it is sh!tty speeds.  In the end, I use www.yousendit.com and transfers were much faster and just provided the rep with the download link.  try it for yourself and see there is a much better speed improvement.

I have a MSDN membership and I think they only allow this program to do it.
It seems like the only way for MSDN subscriber downloads is to use this program..
