Unable to open a shared calendar in Outlook 2003

When trying to open a shared calendar in Outlook 2003, I get the message 'Unable to display the folder.  The Calendar folder could not be found'.  I am able to share my calendar thus allowing others to see mine.  What setting am I missing.  The mailbox was created in Exchange 2003.

Have you added permissions for other users on the calendar that you want to share. The default permissions wont allow access.

This is a Calendar in a Mailbox as opposed to a Public Folder, correct? If so, you also need to make the Mailbox-Level Item visible. Right-click the mailbox, go to Properties, and then the Permissions Tab. There, you need to check off the "Folder Visible" checkbox, and nothing else.
This unlocks the "front door", so people can then open the door of the shared calendar you have established.

This is a Calendar in the mailbox.  I have allowed permissions for others to see my mailbox calendar (not public folder) by checking "Folder Visible".....and thus they can see my folder.  I cannot on the other hand get access to see their calendars that others can see.  Looking at the permissions in Active Directory - Exchange Advanced - Mailbox Rights, each user currently has Read permissions for "Everyone".
