How to install Proxy Server on DDWRT v24

Hi Experts,

I have a LINKSYS WRT54G router with DDWRT v24 installed on it. I want to install a proxy server on it so that I can save the power of the DMZ desktop behind. The proxy should not be transparent for some reason. Is there an easy way to achieve that?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Ipkg for ipkg, for squid look at any page about squid tutorial.

It looks like jffs doesn't work on my router (WRT54G v2). There's no enough space left for jffs.

The solution is valid. However I have some problem with my hardware. Thanks anyway.
