I am not sure if you can help me but let's try, I just setup a new installation of Trixbox.
and basically is only have 8 pots lines incoming/outgoing. for some reason yesterday first day of use in the live environment. CPU was getting crazy and Cached was getting very high. the server that I use is pretty descent and I only have 18 extensions.
Yesterday my incoming calls where created as a queue, and I thought the problems was coming from a bug in the queue. I had to reboot at least 5 times yesterday for the server become working again. I also thought it was the FOP panel so I kill the process for that. my highest process was aastra_deamon1 and dialparties. I am not sure what is aastra_deomon but I only use polycom phone so I don't know if this is related to the phone brand aastra.
anyway. today I created groups instead of queues and it seems to work way better, but it just happened again that the CPU went crazy and I had to reboot the server.
the consequence of the CPU getting high, have an effect on our phone volume going down in a call and incoming call not getting transfer
before I rebooted the server I went into asterisk -r and try to take a snapshot of the screen and this what came up. ( I really don't know what it means , but maybe it has to do with something related to extension 515) under I attached the code of the snapshot. Also 515 is an extension in the receptionist group.
my question are the follow:
if ext 515 is causing the problem how can I drop the channel that it is on , for my cpu regain control?
I also realized yesterday that my default feature were available to all user so I don't know if 515 press by mistake a feature code.*88 or something like that.
how can I check the feature that has been turned on by the user.
well my next question is how can I troubleshoot and fix my problem.
I am sorry if it does not make any sense , I know I have been typing this question pretty fast.
