HP Vista Business to Windows 7 comptibility check issues

I am trying to upgrade in place my HP tablet PC 2710p from Vista Business to Windows 7 Professional. I have only upgrade option DVD and not OEM to start from CD ROM.
The problem is Verisoft Access Manager. I cannot find this damn software to uninstall, I have uninstalled HP Protect Tools, but no way to find Verisoft Access Manager, it seems it is related to fingerprint reader.
I have disabled in  BIOS fingerprint reader, I tried regedit to find something, nothing, nothing in control panels/programs.
Still after windows 7 compatibiliy check I get stopped.
Any help to find and uninstall Verisoft Access Manager?
Or to bypass Windows 7 Compatibility check, I don't really care if fingerprint reader is not going to work

Here is how one user did it :

here is the solution for this problem .....
just start your computer normally at log in screen , click on swipe finger to log on .
then click on log on with wizard ...then click on more... to choose do not log on to VeriSoft Access Manager woohoo now type your password .
in the end when you logged in you have three choices to choose
1-Do it every time you log on .
2-uninstall the VeriSoft Access Manager. <<<piece of mind
3- reinstall the VeriSoft Access Manager. will solve the problem and no need to do the choice 1 neither 2 but you need to start saving the password and store your finger print again .....

Thanks Senad,

I can login, I have installed and unistalled Verisoft Access Manager, and still I cannot upgrade to Windows 7.
yesterday I tried this w7wbf32.exe, installed and uninstalled no change.

I need to find where the heck is this software, how can I remove?
Or how can I bypass windows compatibility check.
A bypass is done here: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/07/29/how-to-direct-in-place-upgrade-windows-7-beta-or-rc-prerelease-version-to-windows-7-rtm/

But I am not in that particular case, I just need to bypass this stupid verisoft access manager compatibility issue.

Thanks

You might be able to use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. This program deletes all left over keys in the registry that a program left behind when uninstalling.
Do keep in mind that this program is not a replacement for an uninstaler, it only is a tool to "delete" buggy software that leaves trash behind..

If I am not mistaken, you have the option of running or not running the compatibility check before the upgrade.
Or no ?

I tried Windows Installer there is nothing there related to HP protect tools or Verisoft Access Manager.

There are two steps to check compatibility. One in the beginning, which I chose not to do, but once you select to upgrade option, then the first thing Windows 7 does is check compatibility and here I am stoppped.
I need to bypass this step.
Any idea?

Sometimes other applications are installed with other programs. It might be that Verisof installed some extra hidden software features which have no distinct name. If you are going to upgrade, it might be an idea to uninstall all apps using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

Well, the problem I have with removing all applications is that I have some applications from giveawayoftheday.com, so if I uninstall them, I will not have them back unless I buy them.
So if I go to the step of uninstalling all applications I better chose a custom installation (where Win7 cleans all applications).

I managed to find the solution. For the sake of other users of HP laptops with fingerprint device I will post here the solution.
First I downloaded a free software RegSeeker, and this software helped me clean the registry and I have searched for any string of Verisoft, it found 6 places, I deleted them, and Windows 7 installation was smooth.

Thanks to anyone for your support.
