Permission Denied

I have windows vista on my laptop and I'm the only user on my laptop with full permission but still I'm unable to rename any folder in C Drive any folder. I have only one partition that is C drive only. When I'm trying to rename any folder its saying Permission Denied. How can i solve this problem. Thanks alot for your help in advance

    1. Check if your username is in administrators group

    2. go to properties of C Drive and then go to security tab
    3. add ur name and assign it full rights...

    I am afraid if you are not renaming windows, program files, users  folders... system folders may not be renamed.

    Dont worry i wont touch system folder but thanks alot for your concern. I have check both the things which you mention but still its giving me error permission denied its a vista problem but how can I solve this issue now
