RDP Not working

I am trying to RDP to two different workstations from the SBS 2003 server.  When i enter the IP address and click COnnect, nothing happens.  The dialog box flashes and then nothing happens.  I am able to RDP to other computers.  Trend Micro Worry Free Business is installed, but no firewall.  Terminal Services are running and the registry conatins the correct RDP port (3389).

Any ideas??
Thanks

Hi,
I think that you need to check the box that is saying Allow users to connect remotley to this computer and Select Remote Users on the workstations you want to connect to.

There's another discussion going on about this very issue.  If RDP settings are not configured correctly, you get an error message depending on what is misconfigured.  The fact that you see the dialog blink and go away seems to point to a video driver issue.

The Allow Remote User box is checked.
The video issue sounds like it might be a strong possability.  These two computers are identical, both pretty new and both with Hi Def dual screens.  I can't check it our until after Christmas (I am just not THAT dedicated), but I will respond early next week.
Thanks
Sorry, I spent a fair amount of time trying to copy the link for the other discussion.  Here is one that works.

"both with Hi Def dual screen"

Did you try using the span switch, see this thread, though the author of the thread has not confirmed the problem to be solved.

Ravi.

To the Author...since you are using SBS 2003, you will hopefully find this blog post on the subject written by one of the other SBS MVPs on this very topic useful.   http://jasonmiller.ca/archive/2007/03/03/dual-monitor-support-in-remote-desktop-connections-client-v6.aspx   There are definitely resolution limitatons with 2003 RDP.
The use of the Version 7 remote desktop client and with the remote machine running Windows 7 significantly improves the support for multiple monitors.  See this blog from the Remote Desktop Services Team Blog http://blogs.msdn.com/rds/archive/2009/07/01/using-multiple-monitors-in-remote-desktop-session.aspx
Hope this helps
beyondt,

Since I have returned to my home office, I have been able to do some experimenting on my network.

My understanding of what you are doing is you're working from the server, which most likely has a single monitor, and are trying to remote into systems that have dual monitors.  I was thinking that you may be getting the blank side of the dual desktop, but you would notice unless the remote desktop was just like your local desktop.  My understanding is the span switch is good when you have dual monitors locally and remotely, and would like to see both locally.  At the very least, you should see a 'tab' across the top.  In case it is not 'pinned', hover your mouse at the top edge of the screen for abit to make certain it's not there.  If you get no error messages, and you're pretty certain a connection has not been established that you can see, I'm thinking video issues.
