iPhone 2G software upgrading

I upgraded my iPhone 2G software to 3.1.2
I intended to jailbreak and unlock it
but I was even unable to officially reactivate it!
In the iTunes, it won't get through the
"Accept iPhone Terms & Conditions"
where the Table of contents appears empty.
it flashes "Accessing iTunes store..." and simply gets stuck,
and my phone remains useless.
Any solution?
Thank you
