outlook bulk emails

trying to send bulk emails from outlook like 1000 at a time get 501 syntax error {RCPT TO:<address>[SIZE=msgSize]} if i break it up into about 200 each it works is this a outllok setting or an isp problem? using xp sp3 and Office XP 2002 sp3 Outlook thanks

    Both, outlook is not designed to handle this many e-mail addresses in the To/CC/Bcc  boxes, but several ISP's will also have a problem with all these names in there... I would suggest using a distribution e-mail software to distribute your e-mails...

    There are several programs you can buy or get for you computer or you can use a company which will send you e-mails out and manage the opt in/ opt out rules for you distribution lists...  Many ways to set this up.
