I have a Dell Inspiron Windows Vista Home Premium that recently I am getting a warning message from Intel Matrix Storage saying: &quot;A hard drive is reporting a SMART event.&quot; &nbsp;&quot;A hard drive has reported that it might fail.&quot; &nbsp;I tried to look at the System Log in the Event Viewer and it tells me that it can't read the data or that it is corrupt. &nbsp;I ran the Dell Diagnostics and it reports 0146 Error Code (Bad Hard Drive). &nbsp;I have also ran a few chkdsk and thye have reported that everything is okay.<br />

The computer seems to be running fine other than it seems a bit more sluggish than it used to be. &nbsp;<br />
