iTunes Question

Hello Experts,

I got a new Dell Isperion laptop and a new ipod touch now i installed itunes and setup my old account from my last laptop so i copied my music on to it also but i can't see any of my previous purchased itunes music in the itunes list??? i went into view and all the menues and dont see an option to display my purchased music my pc is authorized with my account etc is there something else im missing?? this ipod touch isnt as good as the ipod i had before its 8gb and complicated too any how if you can advise me on how to upload my purchased music that would be really great thank you so much this site is a God Send.
