An alternative to buying a new scanner is to have :<br />
1.) Separate PC running compatible OS (linked to network)<br />
2.) Dual boot system<br />

First option is better in my opinion ....(not just for scanners but also for <br />
problematic software-hardware).If you have a scanner that has no drivers<br />
yet (I also have a scanner Benq Scan2Web for which there are no drivers),<br />
then use one of the 2 options.<br />

I seems Canon doesn't support scanner Canoscan D6464u ex on Windows Vista and Seven. There's anybody who know if it's possibile solve this problem? It's necessary to change the scanner?<br />

Canoscan D646u ex on Windows Vista or Seven
