Blackberry Desktop Manager in Virtualbox
I am utilizing virtualbox in a linux setup and want to utilize my blackberry desktop manager. I cant seem to get the virtualbox to recognize it. I have set linux to recognize it as a mass storage device.
Do I need to utilize it in the bluetooth mode?

I did allow access to the USB port as it can see the BB as a mass storage device.
I have not done the Bluetooth yet, will test in the next couple days.
Thanks for confirming some thoughts

I meant in the virtual box console where you start & stop the guest. Did you allow the GUEST access to the usb bus? and to devices on that bus.
(USB configuration of VirtualBox), Not linux. And you need to NOT mount it on linux just the have it sit on the USB bus.

One thing I found was that I was utilizing an older version of Virtualbox, I am doing a reinstallation of the newest version of virtualbox, and going to see if I have same issues.
I did have access to the USB but it would not recognize it.

And Bluetooth mode means you need to give the Virtualbox Guest access to a bluetooth adapter on your VirtualBox host. (almost the same thing as before mentioned option).
