Does anyone know how to make the LAN and WLAN of a sonicwall give out IP's on the same subnet ? What rules are required.

    Accepted Solution

If you have a TZ180 or 190 wireless, there is not much you cna do.  Sonicwall purposely separates the two network interfaces.  You will have to create rules to route traffice between the two.

They will forever be on separate subnets.

I think what you are trying to do is allow your sonic wall to relay DHCP from your DHCP server. That way your VPN clients will get a DHCP address from your network.

    Look up DHCP relay agents.

Don't allow your router to provide DHCP. If it does, it will also try to provide DNS. The problem with that is, your router will not hold your SRV records, that points to services, like AD authentication.
