NDR 3010 5.1.3 This message indicates a problem with the address syntax
we have 4 Administrative groups and routing groups. Yesterday we installed set of new exchange servers (Mailbox cluster, Bridge-head, Front-end) in one of the Administrative group but in different site (physically). Moved the mailboxes to new server.
User from new server can send emails to any one.
But no one from other servers are able to reply or send a new email to the users in the new exchange server.
we are getting the below NDR
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
WPBtest on 12/27/2009 11:48 AM
The format of the e-mail address is incorrect. Check the address, look up the recipient in the Address Book, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address.

the correcponding event ID is:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeTransport
Event Category: NDR
Event ID: 3010
Date: 12/27/2009
Time: 11:51:26 AM
User: N/A
Computer: server_name
Description:
A non-delivery report with a status code of 5.1.3 was generated for recipient rfc822;user@domain.com (Message-ID <B594D68E8F6F944A8F5BE1F89 989FE5D77E C94@server .domain.co m>).
Cause: This message indicates a problem with the address syntax; this means that the recipient address appears incorrectly on the message. Possible causes are 1) You configured a contact with a targetAddress attribute with no address type. 2)Exchange 5.5 allows an SMTP recipient policy which violates RFC821 (SMTP standards) For example an Exchange 5.5 site and organization contain an invalid RFC821 domain name. Having a mixed mode environment (Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 servers) can cause invalid target addresses.
Solution: Examine the SMTP recipient policy and ensure that each mail domain for which you want to accept mail appears correctly. Verify that the recipient address is correct.
