Media card not working on Lenovo Z61T running windows 7

I installed windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on my lenovo laptops Z61t, however, I tried to put my SD media card on laptop and it did not work.

I looked at the device manager and there were no drivers for it, so I downloaded and installed the following driver from lenovo
"       Integrated Flash Media (TI) driver for Windows Vista (64bit) - ThinkPad Z61m, Z61t"

I installed the driver but I cannot read SD card and device manager shows the driver installed.

Any suggestions?

Probably the driver for Vista isn't working properly, although in most cases if Windows 7 driver isn't available, Vista driver can be used.

I suggest you to uninstall the driver and install System Update 4 from Lenovo. This piece of software will download you all drivers needed.

I am using Lenovo T500 and with System Update 4, I was able to install all needed drivers for my laptop.
You do not have to install anything.Although there are no drivers
yet ,W7 x64 recognizes all the SD cards you plug in.Just have to
wait a little....
Also, you have the Lenovo CD.So when it asks for drivers just point to
your CD.If you have everyting zipped on the CD you will first have to extract everything
to a map and then point t that map for drivers.I did a trick like that for some drivers and it worked.
