In wndows 7, when I try to add a local printer, there are many choices for Ricoh printers, but not one for SP C210SF.

Ricoh websites gives options for serveral OS but none of Win7. http://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/downloads.asp?tsn=Ricoh-USA&path=http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/rc2/model/spc210/spc210en.htm

what is the best way to proceeed on this?

Thanks

Have you tried the Vista drivers - they should be pretty much the same?

No I had not;

Vista drivers can't do anything bad on the Win7 machine, can it?

Not in my experience so far.  The kernel is virtually the same, so a Vista driver should be okay on Windows 7 until they decide to write a Windows 7 driver.
