I am looking for a method to create a PHP upload progress bar that does not use
PECL or PEAR.  My ISP does not support PECL and PEAR.....

I appreciate the work and time that was put into the URL's above.

However, I am looking for a php based upload progress bar that does
not use PECL or PEAR.  The URL's given above, were not php based.

If references to websites are given, I would also appreciate, a site
that has complete working samples for download.  Strictly for saving
time and educational purposes.

The resources that I posted don't use PECL or PEAR.

And when you say: "The URL's given above, were not php based"
make me thing that you don't want yo use anything more that PHP
for the upload, something that will be veeryyy complicated.

Because for build a Upload System with progress bar you MUST implement some kind of Asynchronous file upload, and you will need some AJAX to get it.
