Webkit on Windows

How to install Webkit on Windows XP?
I've downloaded from nightly.webkit.org WebKit-r52569. I googled, and i know i should use run-nightly-webkit.cmd but there (in archive) is no such file.

It looks like the developers have replaced the batch file (.cmd) by a proper executable recently.
Have you already tried launching the 'webkit.exe'?

ps:
You must of course, prior to doing so, have extracted the archive preserving folder names. There should be folders called 'JavaScriptCore.resources' and 'Webkit.resources' inside the extraction folder.

I extracted all archive to G:\WebKit-r52569, then i was trying run WebKit.exe, but normal Safari was launched. Then i created folder C:\Program Files\New and copied all the content of G:\WebKit-r52569 into it. Then i was trying again to run WebKit.exe. No luck, still normal Safari was launching. Then i create shortcut to my application with command below:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Safari\Safari.exe /frameworkPath:"%PROGRAMFILES%\Safari\New"
guess...
...no luck. it also wasn't working.
i was using as a proof of using webkit examples from http://webkit.org/blog/386/3d-transforms/

I also run in address bar such command: javascript:alert(navigator.userAgent); and i receive "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10". Important part is AppleWebKit/531.21.8 it means that is normal engine, webkit engine is signed with + sign at the end of version.

"How to do it?"
http://www.recipester.org/Recipe:Disable_Plug-ins_in_Safari_28599889

There is a known incompatibility between the Nightly and some Safari plugins/extensions: http://trac.webkit.org/wiki/Nightly%20Builds

senad: i think we are talking about other webkit ;]
torimar: i think all i did with your help is proper installation. Look at the attached screen, there is not working perspective example from http://webkit.org/blog/386/3d-transforms/ and userAgent screen with AppleWebKit/532 frase, wich means we are working on Nightly webkit.
I think 3d transformations are still not implemented for windows. In wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_layout_engines_(Cascading_Style_Sheets) Experimental, means for Mac users only ;].

and look at http://trac.webkit.org/wiki/Nightly%20Builds there is also this .cmd file mentioned, we already know that is deadend.

Yes, the documentation on their site is rather out of date. The first instructions I studied would have required you to build the webkit from its sources yourself, via Visual Studio or Cygwin.

It's a shame you don't get all features as a Windows user, but at least you may be certain now of having a proper install.
