Java applet image slider over css dhtml menu

Hello, I just used a new image slider using Java Applet. How do I make my dhtml submenu pop up on top of the images? The drop down menu is under Products. Right now its hiding behind the image slider. Please visit

    I tried to add z-index, but it seams to have no effect. Can you please include a code?

    I changed the script using
    Then I added "z-index: 10000;" to the ul in the menu and "z-index: 1;" to the container under the menu.
    I posted this question again and got the solution from memeber "asafadis" who I granted the points.
