    Accepted Solution

Since windows vista came out, telnet was disabled by default. It is the same on 7.

    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Go to Programs or Programs and Features.
    3. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
    4. In the Windows Features dialog box, select (tick) the Telnet Client check box.
    5. Click OK.
    6. After installation is done, Telnet can be used and called immediately.
