Crystal Reports Application Server 9.0 Issue

I am attempting to troubleshoot an error with CR RAS 9.0. I have virtualized a Windows 2003 R2 server, CR RAS is installed and working correctly on the server I am attempting to virtualize, however when I create my virtualized instance, the CR RAS service will not start. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the application to no avail. I receive an Error 1920, service failed to start. Will CR RAS 9.0 run in a virtual environment?

I thought I remember reading somewhere that 9 was not able to go virtual. But I can not give the documentation for it. In the mean time, make sure that all the correct permissions are granted in the virtual instance. You may have to do some management within the OPS user on the server itself to ensure that each instance runs correctly. But permissions is generally the main reason why services do not start.
