Find Stripe Unit Size of Disk

How Can I find the Stripe Unit size of a SAN disk available on the Windows Server 2003 box?

The only way I know is to go into the BIOS of the disk controller on the SAN box.  It should indicate the current strip size.  Of course you have to restart the machine to do this.

thanks for the tip. There is no maintenance down time scheduled right now. if at all possible, it will be nice to read this info, while the system is online..

I am not sure who the manufacturer of your disk controller is but for example there are certain versions of Adaptec Storage Manager that will allow you to view the stripe size.

TotalStorage DS8300 forms the Storage pool.. WIll that help to deduce?
