outlook2007 12.0.6514 sp2 incoming format of emails different by email name??

i have 2 email addresses i use.

if my partner sends me an email with just his 'signature line (has bunch of stuff)'  to 1 in comes thru as html and shows graphics logo in the email fine.

if he sends to my msn account it gets changed to text?  without doing anything deliberately.

we know we can change an email to either format deliberately, and we can set outbound mail to use 1 format always, but how do we get outbound format specific to different email addresses or if it is on my machine how is it changing format depending on the email address i have setup in my outlook.

thanks.

jim

jsturtz,

How are you doing?

See the section "Remember", at the bottom of this link, which tells you how to "always use a particular format" or how to remove the HTML format (using either plain text or rich text) for a specific user:
http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/outlook-2007-email-formats-html-plain-text-and-ric.html

A lot of services (G-mail, MSN, etc) limit html and actually will convert these, as people hide links (in SPAM) or do other "bad things" in mass mails. As such, MSN might actually be blocking this format (converting it) even though it was sent in the correct manner. For some tips (which might be of help in the future, as the above should get rid of the problem) can be found here:

Hope this helps,
Kevin
