Why "Add Query" disables option for using stored procedures?

Hi I'm making a Windows Form application making use of C#.NET VS 2005 and MS Access 2003. I don't understand why the stored procedure options are disabled. Can you help me out? I need to create customized sp. Thanks in advance.

Access does not support 'stored procedures'.

Oh I see, is there a work around for this? Or is there a way to convert the database from MS Access to a SQL database?

In general, you can convert ... especially if you just have tables and queries:

I see the wizard does allow picking a 'SELECT' query ... which will only return data ... not really the equivalent of a stored procedure.

Can you please give me an example on how to make use of data adapters for retrieving records from a MS Access db? I tried to make a query but I haven't figured out how to make use of the parameters to work with the query. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I've never used the Data Adapter ... and really beyond the scope of this Q.  You may want to close this Q and post a new Q in a different zone ... or more zones, such as VB.Net and ASP.
