Hi there

When you launch global address book. Click to expand list of ADDRESS BOOK which is next to SEARCH field. When expanded you will notice Outlook address book and select contacts whcih will enable you to view your local address book.

First you need to add a personal address book in your outlook.
Check the steps above for the same.
from the outlook option, go to contacts and set the  default to local outlook contact.

I tried the steps provide by premglitz and it's fine for the outlook address book that I have. Also some of them are using their manager shared calendar. is there away to add it too
If you have permission to that calender you can...!

oops  am soooo sorry  mean contact list and not Calendar.
