hi experts,
We have a several printers in our network and they have been defined on all of the computers as the TCP/IP port.These printes have got the specific name which is understand by the oracle application.
I want to hide an installed printer from the Printers List under control panel's Printer Options and hide the same from Printer Setup of a program like word/excel.And as well as make one of them printer as default.

If I understand your question correct;

Have you tried to set security on the print object?

Could this be of any interest then? I know the article is very old (back to 2003), but it describes how you may do it.
