lost the IOS, need to reload the IOS
at my CLI I only have a few commands

cat
copy...
I have a tftp server connected, with a IOS ready to send over but when I try to xmodem all I get is jibberish
I need someone to spell out where to go from here to get the IOS back on my switch so I can configure this out.

here is the syntax I used
switch:copy xmodem: flash:nameofIOS.BIN
then
Transfer-
Protocol- (XMODEM)
SEND...VIA the console cable

flash_init
copy xmodem: flash:image_filename
When the XMODEM request appears, use the appropriate command on the terminal-emulation software to start the transfer and copy the software image into Flash memory
