I have a xw4600 and it goes through three processes at startup, I wanna get rid of the 3rd HP screen after windows boots up. Its white and blue and says HP Workstation Innovation. Performance. Reliability. We tried the bios and msconfig.

If there is no option within the BIOS to disable this screen, then you won't be able to disable it. Sometimes a BIOS upgrade adds functionality, but don't upgrade if the readme to the new BIOS doesn't ell you that that particular function has been added, as BIOS upgrades can sometimes fail, and then your PC will become unusable.

It would be useful to know what screens are appearing, and in what order.  Typically, a fast-boot BIOS startup goes something like this:

Manufacturer's splash screen
Windows boot display (for 2000 and 2000-based servers)
Windows loading display
Windows login display

What displays are you seeing?  If the one you want to get rid of is indeed the third display shown, it may be an HP rework of a Windows loading screen.  It is possible to get rid of that, but we need more information to determine what is happening.

Yes, this display can be changed.  A registry edit is required, but it's not complex.  Here are three sites that document the procedure:

http://www.updatexp.com/tip12.html

http://www.windows-help-central.com/windows-xp-welcome-screen.html

http://www.tothetech.com/blog/os/windows/how-to-change-logon-background-in-windows-xp.html

I recommend that you read all three of these pages, because they all go at the process somewhat differently.
