I have a new customer who is wanting a server built for him. he wants to use autodesk vault installed but has said that he needs 500GB of HDD space on the server. This (apart from being very expensive with SAS drives) seems very large, can anyone explain why autodesk vault needs this and what other solutions there may be?

Server requirements for autodesk inventor
