Phone System SRST company switchover

My client has several sites. All sites are connected via MPLS and a Cisco Call Manager is installed at the main site.

One of the sites has been sold. The new owner must have working phones until he switches the configuration over to his Cisco Call Manager, however, we have to cut them off the MPLS.

Is this possible?

If the site have a cisco router implement SRST (CME). If no, buy a router and setup CME/Srst.

The answer is yes.  That exactly what srst is for.  Make sure you have a local site connection to the pstn. configure outgoing and incoming calls route, if there are not already configured. You're ready to rock.

Good Luck!
