Symantec Backup Exec Policies

Current full backups are taking 73hrs.  I would like to spread the backups out over the week so that full backups of servers don't have to happen all on the weekend.  How do I create a policy / job so that for example; Monday - Full backup of sql server, and Incremental of everything else; Tuesday Full backup of App servers and Incremental of everything else.  I know i'm missing one step, just need a kick in the right direction, may have something to do with the holidays coming up and the brain is ahead of me.  Thanks in advance...

You have to create separate backup jobs for each task and schedule it to run on specific day as you mentioned ; this is not through policies
Assuming you are backing up to tape you probably also want to create a few new media sets for better organization. If time permits it maybe assign 2-3 servers per media set and job to maximize tape utilization.
You can't do this in a single policy. You have to make a new policy for each set of servers which should do the full backup on the same day.
