Remote desktop cannot connect inside or outside of the network
I isntalled a new PC for a client last week, WinXP SP3 all available updates applied. It is in a SBS 2003 environment. All other users work perfectly fine. THis new PC cannot be connected to via Remote Desktop (and RWW) from a PC inside the office or outside. I also removed it from the domain and network, renamed the PC and did the entier SERVERNAME/CONNECTCOMPUTER again to create a new connection to the network. and still nothing can connect to it. I have also turned off the firewall (though the policy allows Remote Desktop anyway) any anti virus software etc
When i try to connect from a pc inside the network, (if the PC has not been logged onto after a reboot) it just sits there for 1 minute trying to connect and then just goes away. Once the PC has been logged onto after a reboot, when trying to connect from another PC inside the network, after clicking CONNECT the screen simply goes away immediately (even if the wrong user name or password is entered).
From outside of the office using Remote Web Workplace the screen after clicking on the PC selection the screen just goes right back tot he list of PCs avaialbe.
