Upgrading Openmanage

I have Openmanage 4.0 on my Dell servers and want to upgrade to the current version so that I can use the IT Assistant application.  Do I run the risk of running into problems with my hardware, RAID drives or PERC controllers?  I did not originally set them up and am a little weary of opening a can of worms.  My ultimate goal is to have a monitoring/alerting system on the servers.  I am taking over our IT dept from an outsourcing company that had been using Kaseya which I believe they were using to monitor and get alerts from the servers.  I don't have the budget to invest in Kaseya and was hoping to use the tools that Dell already has available.  Any suggestions would be welcome.

You will not have any issues with your current Raid config or the controllers at all.
Not every version of Open Manage is compatable with every server.
Please post your server models and I can tell what Open Manage Versions are needed and how to install them correctly

OMSA 6.2 is the version you want, uninstall any older versions first, when you extract the files you will find the setup in the c:\openmanage\windows directory
Take the custom install and ensure that the storage management does get installed
Thats it from there

Great, thank you!.  Once I install OMSA 6.2 on each server, does IT Assistant get installed on only one of the servers?
