I've been a user of MySQL and have used the tools that come with it to more easily connect to it and work with it... I recently bought some service through and it comes with MS SQL Server. How do I connect to it... is there a client I can use? I downloaded the MS SQL Server Management Studio Express software but I can't connect with it.

You have to contact the support persons in, some of the providers will allow the users to connect to the sql server only thru some " remote admin" consoles

It was just the hostname. They gave me the wrong one! I was able to connect with the sql server management studio express.
