Can you try on an another way (A work around)<br />
Try to click on the &quot;invite &quot;&nbsp;box in the chat window and then you will get a new window which is having all the users in the address book. Put the phone number there and click OK. Now you were having an IM conference .Click the communicator icon and do a conference

This question is three years old and never actually recieved a valid soliton. An upgrade eventually fixed it.

I have two users that cannot invite outside callers (invite by phone) into a voice conference. <br />
They get this error: &quot;Cannot perform the selected action. This action may not be permitted by the conferencing service. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact your system administrator&quot; <br />
All other OCS users do not have a problem. We are running OCS R2 on server 2008 (not R2). I have double checked their conferencing settings in OCS and tried deleting their profile from OCS and reconfiguring them. Still no luck. <br />
Any ideas? <br />

Users cannot invite outside callers into OCS voice conference
