Is there a way of reverting from Windows 7 back to Windows XP? I have a Windows.old folder that has saved all of the main Windows XP folders.

I would now like to revert my operating system from Windows 7 back to Windows XP without having to backup my data and then reinstall Windows XP from scratch.

Is is possible to do this?

No,it is not posible.
Just backup data from your winold folder to a removable storage and
reinstall XP again (booting with your XP CD and doing a full format before).

You can try but usually, in 99 % of the cases, it's always a mess....

I've had no problems doing it back and forth as part of my testing procedures before I finally decided to keep Windows 7 permanent...
