Reset all Vista File permissions

Ok, long story short is one of my PC's crashed. The long and short all of the permissions for the system partition were blank so I added Everyone and System with full control to get the system up and running.

Now my question is there an app to run to restore the default Windows Vista permissions?
I am waiting on upgrade to Windows 7 until the permissions are correct, or will the upgrade from Vista to 7 redo permissions?

Thanks

I haven't tried it, but if it makes you nervous to try, you could always set a system restore point before doing it and then be able to go back to that restore point if things are made worse...

Well I ghosted the PC and upgraded to Windows 7 and it reset all the permissions on its own.
