I haven't tried it, but if it makes you nervous to try, you could always set a system restore point before doing it and then be able to go back to that restore point if things are made worse...

Ok, long story short is one of my PC's crashed. The long and short all of the permissions for the system partition were blank so I added Everyone and System with full control to get the system up and running.<br />
<br />
Now my question is there an app to run to restore the default Windows Vista permissions? <br />
I am waiting on upgrade to Windows 7 until the permissions are correct, or will the upgrade from Vista to 7 redo permissions?<br />
